'Lady Diana' Pearl Necklace

An exclusive pearls necklace in the iconic style of the 'Queen of our Hearts', featuring a large sparkling crystal and a unique 'Diana' engraving.

This unique necklace with strong eyecatching effect was inspired by a famous piece of jewellery owned by the Royal House of Windsor: the famous sapphire brooch known as 'Prince Albert Sapphire Brooch' or 'Queen Victoria Wedding Brooch', gifted to Lady Diana for her engagement by Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Albert gave it to Victoria on 9 February, 1840 - one day before their wedding. The large, longish sapphire is framed by 12 diamonds.Victoria's love to Albert was proven by the fact, that, in her testament, she left the brooch, besides other important pieces of jewellery, to the Crown. Later, Lady Diana had it set into her famous seven-stranded pearl necklace, as a glamorous centrepiece.
