75 years ago, the world breathed a sigh of relief, when the deadliest war in history was finally over. After the capitulation of Germany in May, on 2nd of September 1945 also the Japanesetroops surrendered and six years of horrific warfare were finally over.

On the 8th of May, all of Britain celebrated the end of the war in Europe, and now world peace was restored. The unforgotten Battle of Britain, commemorated for the 80th time this September, was the turning point of the war in Europe, when Hitler failed to secure air supremacy for the occupation of GreatBritain.
