Final Flight of Concorde Colour Commemorative Strike
Wednesday, 26th of November 2003 saw the world take its leave of a technical masterpiece that wrote an extraordinary chapter in aviation history. Captain Les Brodie had the honour of presiding over the Queen of the Skies' very last flight. Shortly after 11 a.m., Concorde G-BOAF took off from London Heathrow Airport, flew over the Bay of Biscay and landed at Filton, where it is still the main attraction at the aviation museum.
A unique gold-plated tribute marking the end of an era in supersonic travel. This newly released commemorative strike celebrating Concorde's last ever flightis minted in highest quality 'proof' and is only available exclusively from Windsor Mint.
